Overview of the Manav Shelter Project:
Manav Shelter Home provides free shelter and holistic care for street children, children of single parents, and orphaned children. The home aims to create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where every child can grow with dignity and hope. At present, 28 children reside at the shelter home located in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. The program focuses on the overall development of children by addressing their educational, nutritional, emotional, and social needs. Regular health check-ups, counselling sessions, recreational activities, and life-skill training are organized to help them build confidence and lead independent lives in the future.
Objective
- To re-integrate the drop-out children to the schools by networking with various institutes.
- To support a child effectively through all their needs including hunger and hygiene, education and social needs.
- To provide after-care support in the form of workshops, counselling, medical care and other recreational activities.
Services provide in Manav Children Home
Education
Daily academic support, homework guidance, and assistance with school enrollment to strengthen children's educational foundation.
Nutrition
Nutritious meals, special diets for children needing extra care, and regular nutrition monitoring to ensure healthy growth.
Health Care
Emotional and psychological support through counselling sessions that help children overcome stress, trauma, and confidence issues.
Counselling
Sports, arts, music, and life-skill programs that help children develop creativity, confidence, and overall personality.
Coaching & Extra-Curricular
Free surgical treatment for underprivileged communities.
